At Asiatic, assisted stretching is an integral part of our Thai bodywork— not a quick add-on. Thai massage combines rhythmic pressure, supported movement and yoga-inspired stretches to help ease tension and support freer movement. For training fatigue, practitioners experienced in sports massage can focus on heavily used areas. Thai Yoga Massage is available for up to two hours, allowing time for considered, whole-body work shaped around you.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I came back to Asiatic to try a 75-minute Traditional Thai Yoga Massage with Jane and honestly… why have I never had a Thai massage before?! I absolutely loved it.

I’ve had loads of massages over the years, but this was completely different to anything I’ve had before. You’re given clean shorts and a T-shirt to change into, you stay fully clothed and there are no oils - it’s all pressure, movement and assisted stretching.

The whole space was really clean and hygienic, and there’s such a calm feeling when you walk in. Everything felt fresh, comfortable and well looked after, which definitely helps you switch off and settle into the treatment.

Jane was amazing and really adapted everything depending on how my body was responding. Some of the stretches were INTENSE, but in the best possible way. There was one back stretch in particular that was honestly insane - she somehow managed to stretch parts of my back that I don’t think I’ve ever been able to properly get to myself!

I thought I’d leave feeling super relaxed and sleepy, but weirdly I felt relaxed AND energised. My whole body felt looser, properly stretched out and like I just had so much more room to move.

Apple was lovely and welcoming as always, and I finished off with a little herbal tea before heading back out onto Upper Street.

If you’ve never tried Thai massage because you don’t really know what to expect, definitely give it a go. It’s completely different from a traditional oil massage and such an experience. I would 100% have one again - I think I may have found a new favourite.

Choose Asiatic Angel for a central Upper Street location close to Angel station, Camden Passage, and Islington Green. Asiatic Highbury offers a quieter setting near Highbury & Islington station. Both studios provide the same personalised approach to massage, so you can choose whichever location is most convenient.

How can I book an appointment?

You can book online by selecting your preferred studio, treatment, and appointment time. For couples massage, pregnancy massage, longer sessions, or special requests, we recommend contacting the studio directly so our team can help arrange your visit.

How much does a massage treatment cost?
