Full Body

Back

shoulders

arms

hands

Focused

Back

shoulders

legs

another area

Choose a focused massage if you want most of the available time spent on one or two particular areas.

AFTER WORK

When screens, sitting, commuting and a long working day have already asked enough of you.

AFTER TRAVEL

SWITCH OFF

When the goal is simply to slow down and have the whole body looked after.

FIRST MASSAGE

Full Body Massage is a simple way to try massage if you’re not sure which area needs the most attention.

Your first Full Body Massage?

It’s simple. Before your treatment, your therapist asks about:

preferred pressure

areas you want more attention

areas you want avoided

massage style

general comfort

More
Pressure

If you want firmer work in selected areas.

Less
Pressure

If an area feels more sensitive than expected.

More
Time

Around one part of the body.

Skip
An Area

If you do not want it included.

A Pause

At any time.

Your massage is tailored to you, not based on a
set checklist.

What should I wear?

It depends on the massage style you choose.

Oil-based Massage

For treatments such as Aromatherapy or Deep Tissue, you undress only to your comfort level. Professional draping is used throughout, and only the area being massaged is uncovered.

Traditional Thai + Thai Yoga

These treatments are normally performed fully clothed. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy movement.

Your therapist will go over everything with you
before your treatment begins.

ONE BODY. DIFFERENT NEEDS.

Full-body does not mean equal time in every area.

A session might move steadily across the body.
Or it might give more time to:

shoulders after desk work
legs after training
lower back and hips after sitting
feet after walking around London

while still keeping the treatment connected. That is why your therapist asks about your needs before starting instead of following the same routine for everyone.

EXPERIENCED HANDS · PERSONALISED SESSION

Your therapist shapes the treatment as it unfolds.

We start with how you want the massage to feel, then adapt the pressure, pace and areas of focus according to your response.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Clear answers before you book.

What is included in a full body massage?

A full body massage usually includes your back, neck, shoulders, legs, feet, arms, and hands. Depending on your treatment and preferences, your therapist might also work on your scalp, lower back, hips, or other areas you want to focus on.

Which full body massage should I choose?

If you want to relax, pick an aromatherapy massage. If you like firmer pressure, go for a deep tissue massage. If you feel stiff, try Thai or Thai yoga massage. If your tension is mostly in your neck, shoulders, or upper back, a focused back, neck, and shoulder massage might be best.

Is Full Body Massage one particular massage technique?

[Answer to be supplied]

Do I need to undress for a full body massage?

Your therapist will explain everything before your massage starts. You’ll be covered with towels, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered. Your comfort and privacy are always respected.

Can I choose the pressure?

Yes. At Asiatic, we adjust the pressure to your comfort. You can ask for lighter, medium, or firmer pressure, and let your therapist know if you want to change it during your session.

Which Asiatic studio should I choose?

Choose Asiatic Angel if you are near Angel station, Camden Passage, Islington Green, Clerkenwell or King’s Cross. Angel station is on the Northern line, making it convenient for clients travelling from King’s Cross, Old Street, Bank and other central London areas.

Choose Asiatic Highbury if you are closer to Highbury & Islington, Holloway, Canonbury, Finsbury Park or the northern end of Upper Street. Highbury & Islington station is served by the Victoria Line, London Overground and National Rail, making it easy to reach from Victoria, Oxford Circus, King’s Cross and north London.

How long should a full body massage be?

A 60-minute massage is good for a shorter session or general relaxation. A 90-minute massage gives you more time for your whole body and extra focus on specific areas. A 120-minute massage is best if you want a deeper, slower, and more complete experience.

Is full body massage suitable for office workers?

Yes. Many office workers get full-body massages because sitting at a desk for long hours can leave their necks, shoulders, backs, and hips feeling tight or tired. Your therapist can adjust the pressure and focus areas to match how your body feels that day.

Is full body massage painful?

A full body massage shouldn’t hurt. Some firmer techniques might feel intense on tight spots, but you should always be able to breathe and relax. If the pressure is too much, let your therapist know so they can adjust it.

Can I book a couples full body massage?

Couples massage may be available depending on our therapists and room availability. Since we need two therapists and a suitable room, please get in touch with the studio before booking so our reception team can arrange your appointment.

Can I buy a full body massage as a gift?

Yes. A full body massage is a thoughtful gift for birthdays, thank-yous, celebrations, or anyone who needs a break. You can buy an Asiatic gift voucher online and let the recipient choose the treatment and studio that best suit them.
